Elandela Private Game Lodges has easy access by road or air

Due to the strains of intercontinental air travel we recommend that our guests avail themselves to one of various daily flights from Johannesburg O.R. Tambo International Airport or Cape Town International Airport directly to Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport. Refer to www.flysaa.com or www.flycemair.co.za . Elandela Lodges offer complimentary pick-up and drop-offs to adjacent Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport to all our guests who utilize flights from Cape Town or Johannesburg to reach us! Eastgate Airport is a mere 15 minutes travelling time from our main gate!
BY ROAD:
For those guests who decide to reach us by road in their own vehicle, we have the good news that the entire trip will be on excellent tarred roads – right up to our gate!
Directions from O.R. Tambo International Airport to Elandela Lodge:
- Our advice is to take the N1 out of Gauteng province towards Limpopo Province and turn off on the bypass before Polokwane towards Tzaneen, then continue Eastwards in the direction Mica. On the T junction with the R40 close to Mica turn right to our closest town, Hoedspruit.
- In Hoedspruit continue straight on the R40, direction Acornhoek, at the four ways stop.
- Turn left off the R40 onto the Eastgate Airport road, 10 km East of Hoedspruit town.
- On the Eastgate Airport road you will find our sign board in front of the Private Security Gate, which you must enter, indicating that you have 16 km to go in order to reach the Elandela Lodge Gate.
- Elandela Lodge Gate on your right is clearly indicated. Please WhatsApp +27824921776 to keep us updated of your progress. At the gate, press the intercom button to phone us and open the gate electronically. Please mention on the phone whether your destination is Lake View Lodge or River View Lodge!
- Follow the arrows to either Elandela Lake View Lodge or Elandela River View Lodge – a 15 minute 3,5 km drive on a dirt road which is manageable by car.
